Young Adults (18-25)
Support for Young Adults (Ages 18–25)
At Victim First, we know that experiencing a crime can be overwhelming — No matter your age.
We also recognise that being a young adult comes with its own unique challenges: building independence, starting work or study, and forming new relationships. It’s also a time when some people may experience crime — and it’s not always easy to know what to do or where to turn.
You might not always think of yourself as a “victim” — and that’s okay. If something feels wrong or upsetting, you still deserve support, in a way that works for you.
Victim First offer practical help, emotional support, and guidance — whether the crime happened recently or in the past, and whether or not it was reported. Find out more about the support we offer here: How we can help – Victim First
Self-Help Booklets by Crime Type:
Anyone, at any age, can be affected by any crime — and every experience is valid. As a young adult, the types of challenges you face may look different depending on your lifestyle, relationships, and environment.
While these booklets are helpful for anyone, they include guidance on crime types that are commonly experienced by people aged 18–25.
